Yyteri’s summer is packed with services

Yyteri Visitor Centre

Opened in Yyteri in summer 2024, the Visitor Centre is not only a great place to visit due to its exhibition elements, but also a useful source of services for people visiting the area.

At the Yyteri Visitor Centre, you will find a tourist information point, toilets, a café and a shop, a campfire spot, a water station, lockable storage lockers, exhibition elements showcasing Yyteri’s nature, and dog tethering points.

Yyteri Shop/café – Serves at the Visitor Centre during its opening hours.

Café Restaurant Ulappa – A café and restaurant that operates in connection with Yyteri Camping. Open from 9.6. Mon-Sun 8.00-22.00, kitchen 12.00-21.00.

Yyteri Golf Restaurant – Lunch, à la carte menu, café products and an alcohol licence. Open Mon–Sat 8:00–21:00, Sun 08:00–18:00

Yyteri Viewing Tower – a summer café and a private dining restaurant at a height of 60 metres. Summer café open during the summer season from Monday to Sunday, 12:00–18:00.

Activities

A free guided English tour in Yyteri will be organised on Saturday, 9th of August, 11AM–12PM. More information can be found in the event calendar.

Yyteri beach has lifeguards on duty from 12:00 to 18:00 between 15 June and 15 August. During the swimming season, water quality analysis information can be found on the exterior wall of the changing room at the entrance to the beach and the information display in the Visitor Centre. The containerised toilet facilities at the entrance to Yyterinsantojentie and the changing rooms and toilets close to the beach are open during the swimming season from 15 May to 15 September.

Dog beach – This designated beach area for dogs is located at Merisatamatie 13. Please note that dogs are not allowed on Yyteri beach.

Adventure Park Huikee – A rope track, a pumptrack for kick scooters, fatbike, e-fatbike and SUP board rental, Trampoline Park

Yyteri Resort & Camping rental equipment – The equipment available for rent includes bicycles, pedal cars, electric scooters and outdoor games, such as the Finnish throwing game mölkky, and ball games. Open during the summer season from Monday to Friday, 8:00–22:00

Surfcenter Yyteri – Windsurfing and standup paddleboarding lessons and rental of windsurfing and SUP equipment. Opening hours: 1 June–31 August, every day from 11:00 to 19:00

Yyteri Viewing Tower – Abseiling and wall climbing by booking for groups. Summer cafe open every day during the summer season from 12:00 to 18:00

Yyteri Golf – Golf course, short game practice area and driving range.

Open:
