The Luontotalo Arkkis' new exhibition, Unique Yyteri, opens on Thursday, February 8, 2024. The exhibition explores the dune nature of the famous sandy beach located in Pori and its unique features. What kinds of species inhabit the dunes of Yyteri? How are dunes formed? What threatens the dunes, and how are they protected? Answers to these questions and more will be provided.

Pori's successful event year in 2023 was evident in both record-breaking visitor numbers and the results of visitor surveys. Attendance records were broken at Kirjurinluoto events during the summer, and visitor surveys indicate that events in Pori are successful.

The fire alarm system of the Satakunta Museum's museum building on Hallituskatu will be renovated during February and March.
