Free guided summer tour in Yyteri on Saturday 9.8

Need something to do on a summer's day? Yyteri's unique nature and its great services guarantee things to do and see all year round. In summer 2025, Yyteri offers free guided summer tour on Saturday 9 August. The tour starts at 11 am in front of the Yyteri Visitor Centre, Kortejärventie 1, 28840 Pori and last one hour. Guided tour is assured and guided by authorised guide from the Pori Opaskilta ry.

The tour offer a unique opportunity to experience Yyter from below the surface with a knowledgeable guide. The 1.5 km trail takes you through varied terrain, including fitness trails, sand and woodland. Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the Bothnian Sea National Park, the sand dunes of the Yyteri and the sea. The most beautiful sandy beach in the Nordic countries is no less than three kilometres long, so talk of paradise is no exaggeration. Yyteri beach is part of an internationally renowned nature reserve and nature reserve. It is also Finland’s only Blue Flag-certified beach.

Make sure you’re dressed for the weather, wear good walking shoes and grab your binoculars so you can peer into the horizon. After the tour, you can refresh yourself on Yyteri’s sandy beach, so it’s worth grabbing some swimming gear. If you get hungry after the tour, you can grab a refreshing smoothie from the Jungle Juice Bar or an Asian treat from the Chicken Bar. You can also find many other services and activities in the area.

The tour itself is not fully accessible, as there are differences in height and you will be walking on more challenging surfaces such as beach sand and plank steps. Dogs are not allowed on the tour, as it crosses the official swimming beach.
