Orthodox Church of Pori

The Orthodox Church of Pori, or the Church of Saint John the Theologian, is located opposite to Käppärä Cemetery and Juselius Mausoleum.

It was completed in 2002. The church is dedicated to the memory of Saint John the Theologian. The main designer was the Orthodox pastor, architect Matti Porkka from Tornio. The iconostasis was painted by the Tampere-based icon painter Margit Lintu, the other icons in the church by Pori resident Harri Stefanius.
