Aurinkolinna

Information centre, postcards, photos, books, sun lounger rent, play area for children.

Aurinkolinna will serve as an information centre with brochures and information on the services offered by the City of Pori and local entrepreneurs. You can also buy Yyteri-themed postcards, landscapes calendars, photos, books, earthenware, glass and other products or rent a sun lounger or play beach games in the area. Aurinkolinna also features a versatile play area with toys for children. You can also grill your own food at the free barbecue area.

There’s also a photo exhibition “Yyterin sannoilla ja rannoilla” (“On the beaches and shores of Yyteri”) by Manu Toivonen. Visitors can vote for the most beautiful photo and win it in a prize draw.

This summer, the area will be used to test the suitability of glamping tents for the conditions in Yyteri and to build suitable facilities.

Aurinkolinna also hosts various functional events such as yoga, pottery workshops, wilderness events and music nights.

Aurinkolinna is open from 26.6. until 6.8.2023 daily from 12-17, weather permitting.
