Agora hall
The Agora Hall at the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) Pori campus and its Atrium space are a possible venue for large conferences, seminars, annual celebrations and galas in a diverse and experience-rich environment. The campus is located in the centre of Pori, next to the railway station and travel centre at the address Satakunnankatu 23.

Agora Hall is the biggest individual meeting space in Pori and the surrounding area. The hall houses 500–1,000 people, depending on the table and chair arrangements.
Agora Hall and the light-filled atrium at the core of the campus facilitate international conferences and nationwide seminars alike. The hall and its surroundings offer an inspiring and functional setting for shareholder meetings, organisations’ annual celebrations or gala dinners, for example.
Accessibility has been taken into account throughout the campus and in the design of the hall, located on street level. The even floor facilitates accessibility and barrier-free movement.

Modern conference technology and high-quality audio guarantee a functional, high-quality overall feel. Online webcasts and multi-camera productions make participation in events from any location possible.
The lighting and AV systems of the hall make it possible to create the desired atmosphere. The stage is designed and realised according to the nature of the event and as desired.
The hall uses an induction loop as the audio transmission system, which is also the only internationally standardised system supported by all hearing aid manufacturers. The premises have a standardised reception map indicating places with good audibility.
A modern gigabit (1,000 Mbps) wired and wireless network is available on the campus.
If there is a need for a smaller space or the event requires several separate spaces, Agora Hall can be divided into three sections, each with independent AV systems. In addition to the hall, the campus’ meeting and teamwork spaces of different sizes are available for working in smaller groups (a total of 28 different rooms).
