Christmas tunes are echoing in Pori

In Pori, you can enjoy Christmas songs once again with a diverse range of concerts. Familiar and beloved songs will be performed by both Finland’s brightest stars and local musical talents. The first Christmas gigs and concerts begin in November and continue until Christmas Eve – choose your favorites and get into the Christmas spirit!

14.12. Joulurieha 2025 is an evening that will appeal to all lovers of live music. Pelle Pelottomat Osmo Ikonen, Lenni-Kalle Taipale, Marzi Nyman, and Joonas Kaikko, stars of the Finnish Christmas concert scene, will once again rock the concert halls in December 2025!

15.12. Rajaton Joulu 2025 brings warmth and Christmas spirit to concert halls and churches across Finland.

18.12. Kaikki kansat riemuitkaa! – Christmas concert brings Christmas music from EU countries on a music tour by the Pori Sinfonietta and the Pori Philharmonic Choir.

What could be better than enjoying a hot mug of glögi at a traditional Christmas market? Throughout the city and surrounding areas, you can get into the Christmas spirit at Christmas markets and fairs offering handicrafts, Christmas treats, and activities for the whole family.

1.11.-23.12. Joint pop-up Christmas shop by Porin Ässät, Visit Pori, Narukerä and Pesäkarhut at the Puuvilla shopping center.

29.11. Old-fashioned Christmas market The Toivo Building Culture Center will host its traditional Christmas market on the first Saturday of Advent. The Christmas market will once again welcome a large number of craftspeople from all over Satakunta, both new and old acquaintances.

20.12. Tuomaan markkinat brings Christmas to the city, filling downtown Pori with Christmas spirit. At the market, you will find Christmas gifts and treats – for yourself and as souvenirs.

15–19.12. Vaakuna’s delicious Christmas lunch is served Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reserve your table online or through our sales service. We warmly welcome you to enjoy a traditional Christmas feast combining Finnish flavors and our own recipes.

16.-17.12. Reservations are required for Mekani’s Christmas buffet so that everyone can enjoy the Christmas flavors in peace. Reservations are not tied to a specific time – you can come and enjoy the buffet according to your own schedule.

20.12. Christmas lunch at the Noormarkku club is already a classic. The generous Satakunta Christmas table is set from December 10-13 and December 15-20, on weekdays from 11-15 and on Saturdays 12-15

24–25.12. Come to a ready-made Christmas table and enjoy Vaakuna’s atmospheric Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 13-18. Reserve your place online or through our sales service.

24.12. Christmas Eve dinner at Scandic Pori The atmospheric Olivo Bistro& Bar on the ground floor of Scandic Pori will once again serve a delicious and traditional Christmas buffet on Christmas Eve.

10.12. Christmas crafts from recycled paper: Pay what you want day, Kruunupää Children’s Cultural Center

13.12. Elf Day at the Satakunta Museum. Elf Day offers elf-themed activities throughout the day: come and choose your elf name, vote for your favorite elf, search for runaway elves, and get into the Christmas spirit! During the day, there will also be two performances of BRRR!! – the return of the ski ballet, and a pop-up library will also be in attendance.

14.12. Christmas at Korsman House. On the third Sunday of Advent, Christmas preparations are in full swing at Korsman House, as the Martas of the Pori Martta Association prepare Christmas dishes in the Korsman kitchen. At the same time, there will be a children’s Christmas workshop in the Toivo courtyard and workshop.
